February 2013 marked the start of our third series of Word of the Month: Dominican Creole. We’ve learned 6 Dominican Kwèyòl (Creole) words and a proverb in this series

Kwèyòl (Creole) Proverb: Vyé kanawi ka bon bouyon.

English Translation: Old pots make good soup.

Meaning: Do not abandon the old for the new.

The fourth series is scheduled to launch in 2014. Please drop me a line if you have any suggestions on improving this project.
