I’ve always loved smoothies and since the weather has gotten warmer, I’ve been making them a lot more. This is one of my newest recipes. Like the Kap-melon recipe, it is also refreshing, light and easy to make.

Strawberries (Fresh or Frozen)
2 Sprigs of Parsley/Cilantro
¼ of a Peach or Nectarine
Honey (Optional)
Ice (Optional)

Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Serve. Enjoy.


Why I Love This Recipe:
Strawberries: full of beta carotene and minerals
Nectarine/Peach: rich in Vitamin B’s, beta carotene and minerals
Parsley/Cilantro: help prevent stomach cramps and ease digestion of fatty foods
Ginger: aids digestion
