If you’ve ever used cough medicine, chances are Eucalyptus Essential Oil was one of the ingredients. Well, here are 3 easy ways you can utilize this immune boosting essential oil to relieve congestion, coughs and aches and pains:
1. Congestion Relief via Steam Inhalation
Add 2-4 drops of eucalyptus essential oil to a bowl of boiling water lean over the bowl with your head under a towel and inhale the vapor for 10 minutes for improved breathing.
2. Ease Coughs with a Massage Oil
Add 3-6 drops of eucalyptus essential oil to 1 tablespoon jojoba oil (or oil you prefer) and massage into the chest area twice a day to ease coughs.
3. Ease Muscle Aches & Pains with a Massage Oil
Follow the instructions in suggestion 2 above (double recipe if needed). Massage the oil into the affected area twice a day to ease pain and improve movement.
