Sénica Coffee Soap Collection Uses Local Coffee Blends from PJ’s Coffee & Community Coffee

NEW ORLEANS, LA (December 5, 2011) – Natural body care line Sénica has launched a new coffee soap collection featuring local coffee blends from PJ’s Coffee & Community Coffee. The line consists of two (2) soap bars, the Maple Street Coffee Soap and the Pecan Praline Coffee Soap.

The Pecan Praline Coffee Soap is made with CC’s Coffee’s Pecan Praline Private Reserve Blend, that pays homage to New Orleans and the South with a creamy splash of pecan and praline flavors/aromas.  The Maple Street Coffee Soap is made with PJ’s Coffee’s Maple Street Blend and is a tribute to the flagship store opened in 1978 in Uptown New Orleans. Described as a “full City Roast between medium and dark roast with a sweet nutty aroma,” the rich aroma of coffee is the perfect way to start your day.
Each coffee soap bar is packed with rich skin nourishing oils and exfoliating coffee grounds that cleanse without stripping the skin. “Coffee is a great exfoliant, skin softener and deodorizer. It is also believed to help decrease the appearance of cellulite as it smoothes fat cells and removes excess water. The bars smell good enough to eat but we don’t recommend that,” says Sénica Founder Benardett Jno-Finn.

The Sénica coffee soap collection is available in a 3.5 oz size and retails for $6.50 per bar at www.senicanaturals.com. The collection includes two (2) soap bars, the Maple Street Coffee Soap and the Pecan Praline Coffee Soap.
